For the first time since the start of Covid-19, we travelled back to Australia to experience and capture the electrifying energy of people getting together in person at AIME 2022.
What a journey we have had over the past two years and the many lessons learnt. At BEAM, we’re all about energy, engagement and experience. When it comes to experience, it is not just about event formats but about that inner thriving experience of something amazing.
From the 21st to 23rd of March 2022, participants at the Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) trade show hugged, engaged, talked business and partied (safely). It is the first international trade show hosted in Melbourne since the Australian international borders reopened.
There is pent-up demand for in-person events after a lengthy hiatus. Through AIME, we have seen key decision-makers come together to reignite connections and create business opportunities.
Don’t take our word for it. Here’s what attendees had to say about the energy and connections that flowed at AIME this year.
One lesson learnt includes acknowledging that our stamina is not what it used to be. Long hours of engaging with people face-to-face and attending networking events and parties that stretch into the night after a full day of business meetings can drain our energies.
However, that won’t damper all the great feelings from our interactions. When it comes to engagement, people were ready to talk about recovery and the future and actively collaborate – to put words into action. If there’s one thing we know for sure, great relationships are the new certainty.
