Business event professionals can tuck into bite-size learning sessions covering topics such as sustainability, creativity, engagement and diversity – all on demand. The short and snappy sessions, all part of EduMonday Live held recently on PlanetIMEX, are now available free on IMEX’s YouTube channel.
Expert speakers delivering carefully curated education sessions include Guy Bigwood, Managing Director of the Global Destination Sustainability Index, who delivered the keynote ‘The big pivot – Towards a regenerative events industry’. There’s also Glenn Schoen, CEO, Boardroom@Crisis BV; Jonny Round, Managing Director, The Sound Agency; Horst Bayer, Sustainable Travel Consultant and freelance creative consultant, Robert Dunsmore.
This series of 20-minute sessions, with some longer workshops offering a deeper dive, addresses hot topics including resilience, the future of work, creative event design for a new era, crisis communication, contract negotiations, technology, wellbeing and psychology. In true IMEX style, a huge dose of fun is delivered among the learnings and future-thinking, including Song Division’s Social Soiree.
Carina Bauer, CEO of the IMEX Group, explains: “EduMonday Live, along with PlanetIMEX, was a core element of our gift back to the business events community. We wanted to re-establish connections and relationships in these tough times and deliver topical content of real value. We also wanted to foster some fun – among the learnings, case studies and research in our online resource you’ll also discover games, laughter and music!”
EduMonday Live attracted 5,881 registered participants from 120 countries, and was supported by Cvent.
