The ALLSAFE label was achieved through a detailed audit of all processes, based on 16 key fundamentals. Guests will be reassured that their wellbeing is protected with the additional safety measures, which respond to new consumer behaviours and expectations about hygiene and cleanliness, social distancing, as well as seamless and contactless service.
The comprehensive list of elevated standard operating procedures – co-created by Accor, Bureau Veritas and leading medical authorities around the world – seeks to reinforce confidence and trust in travel as Accor anticipates more than 70 per cent of the global hotel network to reopen by the start of July.
In recent weeks, Accor has seen renewed interest in travel demand, with hotel reservations doubling. In Asia-Pacific, more than 940 of the group’s 1,228 hotels are now open, representing over 76 per cent of the network within this region, with more added each week.
With the vital support of its owners, Accor’s additional operating procedures include having an ALLSAFE officer available at the hotel 24 hours a day to ensure comprehensive hygiene training is implemented for staff across all areas of the hotel.
