Across three days, trade show attendees will expand their knowledge, connect with the global business events community, and find inspiration.
Planning for AIME 2024 is well under way. The event expects to host 500 buyers from around the world, welcome 3,500 visitor buyers and up to 400 exhibitors from various business events sectors and countries – including Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Macau and many other destinations.
Hosted Buyer Applications
Senior event professionals are invited to apply for AIME’s 2024 Hosted Buyer Program.
Hosted buyers will receive complimentary return economy flights to Melbourne, group transfers, luxury accommodation, meals, and exclusive invitations to VIP networking events and MCB’s Uncover Melbourne Experience. In return, hosted buyers commit to attending a minimum number of pre-scheduled appointments with exhibitors across the two-day tradeshow.
Australian and New Zealand based event professionals who apply for the 2024 Hosted Buyer Program before 31 October 2023 and are accepted into the programme, can win an incredible Canadian experience.
The prize supported by Club Med and Air Canada includes return flights, seven nights’ accommodation at Club Med Quebec Charlevoix with all meals, drinks, entertainment and activities – including ski lift passes and lessons.

Fully hosted buyer benefits
For many years Buyers have been able to attend AIME in a fully hosted capacity – which means a VIP experience including return flights, transfers, accommodation etc. in return for completing 32 Pre-scheduled Appointments (PSAs).
In 2021, AIME introduced two new categories to the hosted buyer program:
- Semi-hosted Buyers – Buyers pay for flights, AIME provides accommodation plus more great benefits, and Buyers only need to complete 20 PSAs.
- Hosted day Buyer – Buyers complete 10 PSAs on the Wednesday and can attend the Knowledge Program and Welcome Event on Monday.

AIME award nominations
AIME is delighted to announce that the 2023 event has been nominated for two categories at the prestigious Australian Event Awards and Symposium. AIME 2023 is up for Best Exhibition or Trade Show, as well as Best Achievement in Marketing or Communication in conjunction with its agency littleBIG Marketing.
After taking home the trophies in 2022 for both Australian Event of the Year, and Best Congress, Conference or Exhibition, it’s an honour for AIME to be recognised again in 2023.
