Following the recent integration of cievents with FCM Travel Solutions under the new name of FCM Meetings & Events, the company announced that Simone Seiler has been appointed to the role of General Manager of FCM Meetings & Events.
Seiler was cievents’ General Manager of Strategic Growth. Since starting at Flight Centre 20 years ago, she held various leadership roles across Flight Centre Travel Group’s retail and corporate brands, with the last four years focused on growing cievents into a world leader in the business events industry.
Melissa Elf, General Manager – FCM Travel Solutions Australia, says Seiler’s passion and extensive knowledge of the MICE sector are “exemplary, and her vision for the future of FCM Meetings & Events is truly exciting”.
Under Seiler’s leadership, Elf says, “We are excited to have Simone leading our Australian business and managing the transition to FCM Meetings & Events over the coming months.
