BEAM, leading content creation and experiential agency, will be led by co-founder Kiat Chua as he steps into the role of Managing Director effective 1 August 2022. In addition, team members Qixin Liow and Elly Hong will now be co-owners of BEAM.
After four years of planning, Chua said it is the right time to make this change as the company continues to expand across Asia-Pacific.
“It is essential that organisations change and adapt, embracing new opportunities through evolution.
“This change represents a new era for BEAM whilst building on our experience and strong connections with our customers and community.
“I am very excited to lead the team with our new co-owners and look forward to shaping the next phase of our clients’ and our own success,” said Chua.
Since 2021, BEAM has expanded its portfolio of services beyond content creation for its community of 13,000 business professionals by designing immersive event experiences.
Examples of their work include successfully executing a 360-degree social marketing strategy for AIME 2022, managing the bringing of qualified buyers into international destinations, and managing international convention bureaux roadshows in Singapore.
With close to 40 years of industry experience across the new leadership team, BEAM will continue to serve its community. Its co-founder, El Kwang, will move into a strategic advisory role and will continue to mentor the leadership team.
Kwang reflected on his team’s accomplishments: “I have always been an advocate for local talent and am very proud of the culture we have created together.
“I am honoured to commemorate my 10th year living and working in Singapore by handing over the reins to Kiat and his new leadership team.
“Kiat has the talent and drive that the business needs, and the future is very bright for BEAM,” said Kwang.
