The venue hosted three gala events, culminating in an immersive ‘Under the Sea’ themed New Year’s Eve Party, ushering in a new year with an unforgettable experience.

With GCCEC’s exceptional facilities, staging and technical expertise, and capability to accommodate large groups of participants, 3,100 Nojima Corp staff and family members were mesmerised by the gala events. The traditional Welcome to Country, performances by Indigenous artists, and projection mapping brought to life local culture in a vibrant and interactive visual display.

Situated in an idyllic location at the heart of the Gold Coast, midway between the beaches of Surfers Paradise and the rainforests of the hinterland, the RACV Royal Pines Resort highlights endless possibilities for gala events with versatile facilities such as the Royal Benowa Ballroom, an impressive 1,500-sqm pillarless and multi-configurable venue that can serve up to 1,800 guests, or the tennis courts for functions with a twist.
