The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) is Australia’s largest regional convention centre and has played host to many incentive groups over the past 20 years. The versatility of the venue and Gold Coast’s distinctive ‘beach to bush’ lifestyle was showcased during a recent annual employee reward program for electrical retailer Nojima Corp, headquartered in Yokohama, Japan. The venue hosted three gala events, culminating in an immersive ‘Under the Sea’ themed New Year’s Eve Party, ushering in a new year with an unforgettable experience.
With GCCEC’s exceptional facilities, staging and technical expertise, and capability to accommodate large groups of participants, 3,100 Nojima Corp staff and family members were mesmerised by the gala events. The traditional Welcome to Country, performances by Indigenous artists, and projection mapping brought to life local culture in a vibrant and interactive visual display.
